Mykonos - Corfos Hotel

Bright and early Wednesday morning we packed out bags, jumped in a taxi and headed to the airport. Leaving a beautiful English summer morning behind for 3 nights on the idillic idillic island of Mykonos Greece.

4 hours later we stepped off the plane, welcomed by cloudless blue skies and 30 degree C temperatures.   Into the hotel taxi we sped away a little way across the island, to Corfos Hotel. We arrived a little after 3pm in the afternoon, excited like little children as our mouths dropped open at the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen.

After being shown to our room, we stripped off and headed straight for the pool for a swim..

And a few cocktails of course...

The perfection didn't just stop at the pool, oh no. Our suite was simply perfect, white washed walls, stone floors and beamed ceilings. Complete with two bathrooms, lounge area, kitchen and a pool view balcony.

Just look at that chandelier...

Following the gorgeous stone stairs up to the maisonette we found the bedroom, complete with the biggest bed I've ever seen!

I can't explain how beautiful this place was! Corfus Hotel Mykonos is the most peaceful and idillic place I've stayed. With only 14 rooms, the atmosphere is so relaxed and luxurious, it's the perfect place to lay back in the sun, under white linen and let your worries roll away.

The staff couldn't of been more helpful and welcoming, in the short time we were there they felt like friends. And we promised that we would be back to see them again soon...

Check out my next posts to see more of our time in paradise.

Cheers!
