Beauty | Skincare routine 2015

In 2014 I finally figured out a skincare routine that really works for my skin. To me that's a huge accomplishment. I have fairly sensitive and oily skin, but overall I have no huge complaints. I get the odd spot here and there, thankfully I grew out of my acne! Mainly my mission is to control excess oils. I've been using this routine for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier. My skin is clear and my complexion has changed completely - I actually look younger -if that's possible at 23! My skin is smooth, hydrated and clear, and since using this routine I've managed to keep the oil at bay too.

Bioderma - Crealine H2O - 500ml £9.04 here
Clarisonic Mia - £117.50 here
La Roche-Posay - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel - £9.04 here
La Roche-Posay - Pigmentclar Anti-dark spot cream* - Coming soon
La Roche-Posay - Pigmenclar Eye Cream - £19.50 here

First off having a clean face is so important. I used to use makeup up wipes to remove my makeup, but they really just didn't cut it. I could never get all of the makeup off, especially mascara! I'd wake up the next morning as if I'd never taken it off at all! At night your skin needs to breathe, and Bioderma is by far the best product for removing every trace of make up from my skin.

I've also rediscovered my Clarisonic Mia in 2014. I found it in the back of my cupboard, attached a new head and haven't looked back. After being sent some La Roche-Posay samples a few months ago, I've become obsessed, I totally love their products hence why the rest of my routine is purely La Roche-Posay! I've been using La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying foaming gel for oily and sensitive skin with my Clarisonic Mia to cleanse my skin. The combination of the two really works to clear out my skin, the vibrations of the Clarisonic Mia helps the Effaclar gel work deep in my pores to eliminate impurities and minimise excess sebum, which leads to an oily complexion. And is also gentle to sensitive skin.

After cleanings and rising my face, I pat the skin dry and apply my moisturiser. La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar anti-dark spot skin-evening cream not only nourishes my skin but leaves it clear but reducing redness and hyper-pigmentation.

To tackle those ugly dark cirles, I follow up with La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar eyes dark circle skin-evening corrector. This product has to be the star of the show. I've raved about it before, and I will rave about it again! By dramatically reducing my dark circles, La Roche-Possay Pigmentclar eyes leaves my eyes looking bright and alive!
