SmokeWorks - Cambridge

Saturday afternoon, despite the weather's best effort to keep up trapped in side. We headed into Cambridge in search for tasty treats and sweet potato fries.

Smokeworks is tucked away down a small cobbled street in the heart of Cambridge, the perfect place to hide from the crowds and enjoy some delicious food.

SmokeWorks open it's doors this year, offering a menu of delicious BBQ dishes from the US. If you like pulled pork, pulled beef or ribs, then this is the place for you!

Designed to look like an old oil works, with gorgeous exposed brick work and loads of quirky features. I just love this alcove dining area.

Perfect for an afternoon snack with friends.

And these nifty switches on each table to call the waitress...

We gulped down some delicious malt milkshakes, I highly recommend the salted caramel. And felt as if we were in a really southern diner.

Not long after we tucked into our milkshakes, we received our food, and Oh My we're we hungry.

We both ordered the Pulled Beef Bun, with sweet potato fries and corn. This was rather a messy meal, full of juicy flavours and a heap of chipotle sauce.

My mouth waters just looking at this little baby.

After demolishing our meal, fully satisfied, can you tell by our cheeky grins?

We headed back out into the rain to walk off our food coma.

So if you're in Cambridge, and looking for something a bit different. I highly recommend checking out the Smokeworks.

2 Free School Lane, Cambridge.

These happy diners will definitely be back!
