Spring 2014 fashion favourites - From A Simple Melody

The sun is out and spring is definitely upon us, and I couldn't be more ready! Spring is the time to start brushing the dust of your sandals and showing some skin! Im so excited that to share today's post with the beautiful Melody from - A Simple Melody. Melody has shared her fashion and trend loves for the spring time to give you all a little inspiration:

1. Pastels - 'I am in LOVE with pastel shades. My personal favourite would be lilac, I have a TopShop lilac jumper and I wear it a lot!! I feel like you can wear pastels any time of the year but in spring I think that they make more of a come back. You can buy pastel pieces from quite a few high end and high street shops so go and grab some while you can.

2. Crop Tops - Although you can easily wear these throughout the year, I feel like in Spring they are more acceptable. In spring I like to wear these with a pair of high wasted jeans and some Vans/Converse. You could easily dress them up too. I would wear one with a high wasted skirt and some awesome heels.

3. Skater Skirts - I love skater skirts all year round. I'll wear them in the summer with some sandals  and if I want to wear them in winter, I'll just throw on a pair of tights. But in Spring time I like to wear these with a pair of super thin tights and some high top converse or Dr Martins. Then I would wear a band tee or something loose and baggy to tuck into the skirt. It's a super easy and casual outfit.

4. Bright Nails - Ok, I like bright nails all year round, but more so in the Spring/Summer. I feel like the bright colours just look amazing and they really bring colour to an outfit. My favourite brand of nail polish has to be Barry M. The colour range in amazing and for a price of £3.99 you can't go wrong.'
