Morning Skin care routine - January 2014

Skin care routines are a very personal thing, everyone has different skin types, issues they're trying to counteract, but everyone wants beautiful skin. I have a very oily T-Zone, but the rest of my face is of a normal skin type I suffer with acne, which is mostly hormonal so varies from time to time. I also struggle with acne scaring, and pigmentation, oh and those very attractive  dark circles! So here is my morning skin care routine, it wont work of everyone, but these products really help me keep my skin looking tip-top. So hopefully some of your will find this useful.

Firstly apologies for the dodgy stock photo (Source: Biore.com), my tube is currently all used up, and cut up so I can scrape out the last tiny bit of product! I have raved about Biore pore unclogging scrub for years! No other product helps me shift pesky spots and acne quite like this product! As well as a lovely tingly mint feeling, perfect for a morning wake up!

Natio renew radiance foam cleanser is a relatively new addition to my skin care routine, but I'm pretty sure it will be a staple product from now on. The gentle foam removed all the oils and impurities that can build up over night, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean to start the day. It's also a great product to treat pigmentations and scaring promoting an even skin tone and a translucent complexion. For a full review click here.

Another product from Biore. The Nourish moisture lotion makes the perfect morning moisturiser, being light it doesn't leave a greasy residue and sits beautifully under my make up. As well as that it balances my skin's moisture naturally, keeping me hydrated all day long with the added bonus of SPF 15. Mini review here.

Another relatively new addition to my morning routine is the Swisspers naturals aloe soothing eye cream. This light weight gel works wonders on my dark circles as well as being a great base for my under eye concealer. Full review here.

Finally, SPF. Whatever the weather, I always wear a high SPF on my face and the Dermalogica solar defence booster works a treat. Packing a whopping factor 50 SPF, the solar defence booster is a light weight cream/gel with an unexpected light lavender scent. I either mix it with my Biore moisture lotion or apply on it's own. It doesn't leave my skin greasy and works great as a primer in its own right.

Being a beauty blogger, I'm always trying out new products and skin care, so this routine often varies as I trial and discover new products. But this combination is working so great for me at the moment. Balancing my skin, controlling oil and treating acne, I'm going to be a bit hesitant to change it now. If it ain't broke - don't fix it!
